Our wonderful & generous bishop happens to also be the osteopathic principals professor at the medical school. The ward just loves him for the love he offers each of us, the time he so willingly gives to anyone who has need & for his "magical" powers of healing. He has developed a reputation in this area for his practice of manipulation. He has treated all 3 of our boys, as well as Rod & myself & Ill tell ya...he has a gift! Rod has learned so much from him. When one of our boys has an ear ache or a stuffy nose Rod applies the things he has learned in the Bishops course & is able to relieve pressure, & set the boys' bodies on the way to health. I feel so blessed to have a husband who has knowledge of manipulation. It has definitely served useful already! Today we had a OMT breakfast at church. This area has some pretty yucky bugs going around so the (mormon) med students were asked to use their manipulation education & treat any ward family members in need. Treatment tables were set up & the line was formed. It was great watching the students serving our fantastic ward. I know Rod was happy to help. While Rod was busy with treatments the boys played in the nursery with all our little friends. We really missed them all over the break so it was fun to get together. The elders quorum (mens group at church) made breakfast which included bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, pancakes, eggs & juice. It was all very yummy! We had a great time & Maddox was treated for his colic by our sweet Bishop. He slept sweetly for most of the day & seemed to have some relief from the tummy trouble. We are so grateful for all our Bishop has done for Tre & his ear problems, Britton & his cranial issues, & Maddox & his colic, Rod & his diverse illnesses, & me with my post epidural pains. Yikes that makes us sound like ragged group. haha. We really are a healthy & happy bunch, with much thanks to Bishop Thompson. We feel so blessed to have him as our ward father.

It looks like a fun time for all. I could use some treatments for my foot.
Love, Mom
