Presley Turned 8. & that terrifies me! How has she grown up so quickly?! I remember her being 3 days home from the hospital. I was dressing her for the day and I just burst into tears because I wanted her to stay small forever. I love the little girl she has become. She is not at all what I imagined she would be. She is fierce and determined! She was a late talker and teachers told us she would always be playing catch up. Well she sure proved them wrong! that little darling pushed hard and is so incredibly smart. She went from maybe staying back in kinder to being an A student across the board.  She is self motivated and absolutely loves learning! She is going someplace in life! I can't wait to see what she does. On her birthday I can't help but think of the people who loved her so much. I am so grateful that Heavenly Father blessed us with our sweet baby girl and a village of friends, teachers and a fantastic speech therapist. Now that she is 8 her baptism is just a few weeks away.  She is so excited for her special day and has been practicing in the pool with Daddy. We love her so very much!

For her Birthday we partied all day with the brothers. The day started with her favorite-eggs waffles with Nutella, & then presents. When Daddy got home from work we took our Presley out to Paris for a French dinner and then went to a French bakery to pick up crusants and macaroons. She is absolutely in love with all things French and Parisian right now. She is so super fun!

The end of the school year came in like a storm. So many end of the year projects, finals, study groups, performances, presentations & ceremonies...I fell behind on pictures. But here we go...

first up: Muffins with Mom at Pre-K. Miss. Carli did it again! She created such a cute breakfast for the moms with all the kids. It was so sweet. Coop made a necklace that I just cherish & love.

Next up: Presley had earned a girls trip. We picked a fancy hotel here in the city and went on an adventure just the two of us! we had matching PJs and ate macaroons in bed. It was really something special just to focus on Presley and make her feel like the gem she is.

Then: & heres the real tear jerker...our small but strong Britt graduated from elementary school. Break my heart! He is so excited to move forward and join clubs that interest him and move up to Middle with Tre. I look at him and I see a baby still. Its going to be hard to let him grow up. I feel such a pull to be overly protective with Britt. He was awarded for honor roll and we are just so proud of this hard working boy! But he needs to stop growing up!

& then: Maddox had a fun cardboard box arcade he made with the scouts but Momma failed at taking pictures because I was talking with friends. But it was so super cute I had to make note of it! Maddox's game was a military themed one & I loved it! he has such fun leaders!

Last but not least: Coopers graduation. We loved Miss. Carli. She truly is an angel with a heart for children & teaching! I feel so blessed to call her a friend! She makes our city fun! Cooper had a rough school year...he even took a break from Pre-K for a few months just to be home with momma. When he went back he did better, but still had hard days when he wanted to be home. Carli was so patient. He made some great friends and even had his first crush on Miss. Leila. He had big heart eyes for that cute blonde girlie! We all had a good laugh over his need to bring her flowers for graduation.
