or our attempt at.
We have been reading with the kids for a long time now..& to be honest...
they still wiggle & laugh & yell "YEE-HAW" or "I am a robot" & jump on their beds. I am wondering when things will settle down & we wont have to talk at full volume in hopes they might here a word or two. Regardless..It feels good to show the kids that the scriptures are a blessing & we can grow closer to our savior through reading.

(Tre reads the scriptures super good while Britt & Madds repeat what we say--when they are feeling aggreable. they are 2 3 after all.We try to go in with minimal expectations on those two knuckle heads.)

The little boys insisted on wearing their swim suits over their jammies last night.
Reminded me of a time when my brother, Brad & I got to pushing my mother's buttons & making life difficult in the house (kids do that sometimes. but never mine *wink wink*). She was so frustrated with our shananigans that she told us to put on our swimsuits & go to bed. We still laugh about it today.

Growing up just about every other weekend My parents would ship my brother & I off to Salem New Hampshire to stay with my Aunt, Uncle & cousins. & on the weekend we were not at their house they were at ours. We played in forts, recorded radio shows, played tag, legos, house, crazy made up games, pirates, went swimming...kid stuff. Most of my memories have Dana & Craig in them.
I miss them.
This weekend my awsome Aunt & Uncle invited us come visit. Dana was able to come too with his super cute Fiance, Heather (pro-cheerleader, model, teacher. all around fantastic gal.) Craig enede up finally getting to Egypt, so we visited with him via internet. The boys were extra well behaved & had a blast eating, playing iwth uncle kevins toys above the detached garage. The weather was the best, windows were opened & we were able to play outside.
I was thinking what a lucky kid I was to be so close to extended family. We grew up together. I love that. I know that having extended family near by to love me & teach me had a HUGE impact on me. It taught me the importance of family. I feel extremly blessed to have such a loving family.
I hope these times are as cherrished & memorable for my goobers.

While I washed up Maddox in the tub & T showered Britton blew bubbles for his baby sis.
It was warm on the porch off the bedroom. We are getting VERY excited for spring.

Oh boy...my guys have cabin fever BAD!
By 3pm they are climbing the walls. (In Britt's case-Litteraly. Its not pretty!)
Lucky for us girls of the house we have had a few days of not freezing weather.
I have been succesfully wearing the sclater boys out-outside, which makes our afternoons far more managable.
