{where did you take your bath today?}

Monday, April 27, 2009

I dug out the trusty inflatable pool today.
turns out its only trusty when you keep the air plugs.
so the Sclater families personal super hero flew to the store & bought a new one.
He & the big boys...

While we ate dinner the pool filled
(& I contemplated how to incorporate our FHE lesson into playing in the pool.
Which ended up working out just fine.)
Then we played till bedtime.

Britt thought he was too cool for the pool...
Photobucket
Tre did not.

Britt says a few sentences.
one of the most commonly spoken ones is...
"Its a hat!"
Everything can become a hat...
Photobucket
all the while laughing & chanting "Its a hat!"

Playing in the pool qualified as a bath tonight.
I know , I know,but...
We were all pretty tuckered out & just ready to crash.
washed faces, hands, feet, teeth.
read,prayed sang...
ZZZZZZZZ

Pretty day with pretty boys!

Rod is out with the missionaries right now & the house is quiet.

I miss him.
a lot.

Don't you love coming up with FHE on the fly when activities call... I always feel so great about that. (Ours was a family bike ride tonight :) I really like your Abe Lincoln quote too, I'm having one of those days I'm not making the right choice...

Jenni,
Looks like things have been quite exciting in your life from sickness to birthdays to date nights and fun family time. Your family is beautiful and I am so jealous of how good of a photographer you are! Love ya
