Conference didn't exactly go as swimmingly as Rod & I had hoped.
The first session had a thin audience seated on our sofa.
The reason... this little fella'...
We will give you one guess as to why....well maybe 4 guesses...
I had served all the guys their lunches,
we had enjoyed the voice of our beloved Prophet
& some beautiful music from the Mormon Tabernacle Choir when...
OUCH!
Our Little T got pretty excited & was jumping with his fork.
He fell right on it.
Poor T-man just cried & cried.
All 4 prongs got him.
Prong four left the most visable damage
but we are extremely grateful today
that prong 3 didn't do more damage!
The eye Doc said he was one lucky boy!
That he is!
He has some antibiotic for his eye & is back to his giddy self.
Session 2 went better...
Tre & Britty enjoyed an activity packet.
T also became more familiar with the general authorities.
He was pretty proud of himself...momma was too.
We cant help ourselves...
we have to have treats for conference...just seems fitting.
Today Big boy Tre & I made a batch of Hawaiian chocolate chip cookies.
I had formulated this recipe in my head weeks & weeks ago...
& today was the day.
They were a hit with Britt who ate & ate (but whats new?!)
We are excited for the opportunity to hear more council tomorrow.
Hopefully tomorrow will be less eventful!

Oh Jen....I'm so glad Tre is okay. How scary! What a blessing that it didn't poke his eye. Sure was fun to see you today even if it was for a few minutes. Have a wonderful week my friend.
