{What Did You Have for Dinner Last Night?}

Wednesday, March 11, 2009

Us? Oh, well...
Lobster, Filet Mignon, shrimp,
Sirloin, Pork & Even some Chicken.
Served with....
Potatoes, mushrooms, squash, & Broccoli.
All cooked in a pot of Caribbean flavors.

But even before that We snacked on
a avariety of breads, vegetables & Fruits dipped in warm cheeses.
To finish we satisfied our sweet sides with
Brownies, cheese cake, rice crispy treats,
bananas, pound cake, marshmallows & Strawberries.
all dipped in a pot of chocolate mixed with caramel & pecans!

We put the big boys to bed at 5:45 last night. Settled the baby into our sweet friend Abby's willing arms & drove 90 minuets to Knoxville.
We arrived just in time to see the sunset behind the city.

Rod treated me to a date at The Melting Pot
one of our favorite restaurants to go to minus the boys.
It was a real treat! Yummy!

We enjoyed each other & enjoyed our meal at a slow pace.
there was no plastic plates being dumped on their content.
No forks being dug into our nice dinning table.
We sat Side by Side in the booth.
Holding hands all the while.

We returned to a quiet house,
We knew the boys were in good hands.
Joe & Abby are too sweet to take on all our little boys.

Rod really knows how to treat his girl.
We had a wonderful date!

Oh how fun! We have never been there before but we have always wanted to go. Maybe in the future sometime. Arent those dates just the best when it is the two of you. It is always very needed by us med school parents since we never get to see each other. I am so glad you guys had a great time. And my gosh you are beautiful and skinny as ever. I hope I can look that good after three.

YAY!! Love the Melting Pot!!! I'm so glad to hear there is one nearby for you and Rod to enjoy! Brad and I have to travel 45 minutes to Albany to indulge, too... We will be heading there for St. Patrick's Day. Very exciting! :-) I'm glad you enjoyed your meal and alone time together.
