Getting a group of people (4 of which are peanuts) to pose for a pretty pictures is way too much fun. I love looking through the images on my computer after. I thought all the picture attempts were laughable.
Every year after we decorate the tree we take a picture. & I video documented the happenings too, but things are hairy here & its taking me a bit longer to get around to adding music, & arranging clips. Soon. Hopefully.

looks like you had such fun with your parents in town!! they seem like such great people. love the group pics:) ha ha. i have a hard enough time trying to get 2 kids to look at the camera, let alone 4.
That's funny! Ken and I rarely look good in the same picture. I'll look good, but he's blinking, and one of the boys will stick their tongue out. Then he'll look good and I'm in the middle of saying something with a deformed looking smile and a kid turning away. Lol. Makes me think of the commercial with a lady taking her family picture and she says, "to the cloud" to fix them.
