{June}

Rod is home for the month of June.

lots of wrestling mixed with hugs.

I love waking up next to him.
In the mornings the big boys get up

& crawl into bed with us until Maddox wakes up.
Its bliss!

{Tea Time.}

There is a huge pile of pink items ready to be put away.
Lots of colorful tissue paper & cute bags are on my bed.
My friend (who already has way too much on her plate), Taralyn decided to throw Tamsyn & myself a Tea Party Baby Shower.
Somehow Tamsyn weezled her way into prepping for her own shower.
Those two made yummy food & Taralyn took out all her tea sets just for the occasion. It was just us ladies. Our boys were at home tackeling their Dad. Nicola (our English sister) taught us the cutest etiquette lesson. (Now I feel accountable for the information. haha)
I dont even know where to begin with the amount of generosity that was in Taralyn's house today. I have had showers before, but never have I been so spoiled by hand made beauties & planning!
My friends & even Tamsyn's adorable Momma made our sweet baby girl bows, dress, recieving blankets, burp rags, photo keepsake, sling, nursing cover & a blanket that will fit just perfectly in her room-to-be! But the gift giving did not stop there.
Oufits & diapers made it home with me aswell.
My Mom was by myside the entire shower,
which makes everything even more special.
It was a fantastic shower!

It is hard to forget how lucky you are

when you have such loving friends!

{Wednesday}

Omah is here!
We are loving the extra laughs, snuggles...& um..sweets too!

My mom (their Omah) is a saint!

She is taking on a pretty demanding task of caring for us.

The boys love her to pieces.

Maddox snuggles his Omah.

Britton tells Omah all sorts of stories (mostly about Thomas)

& Tre shows Omah what a big helper he is!

(he vacums, helps with laundry, he is a super kid!)

Today she took the big boys for a nice walk

& made sure I was off my feet almost all of the day.

I really love you Mom.

I know this is a lot.

We could not be afloat without you!

I cant wait for our daughter to fall in love with you too!!!!

(because she inevitably will!)

We wish you were here too!

who needs a job anyhow?! haha.

& NOT that I am keeping track or anything....

but, only 9 more days of bedrest & meds!

{Amy Jop}

Thats what Britton calls my saving grace.

Amy Jo has been at our house the last 2 weeks.
Taking on tantrums & playtime.
Rod arranged for miss amy jo to act as mothers helper
while he is gone & I am stuck in bed for hours a day.

The boys adore her!
& the way Britt says "Amy Jop" is sweet as can be.
I know they will be asking for her.


Amy Jo was perfect.

Exactly what we needed.

She watched Britt put puzzles together over & over.

She snuggled.

Encouraged Tre & cheered him on.

Listened to Maddox scream.

I cant imagine how We were so blessed to have her help!

Tomorrow My Mom comes to take over.
We are thrilled!

{end of another year}

Tre was asked to read a book infront of nearly 300 people.

He did it with a smile & PERFECTLY!Our guy is just too cute!

It was right about after I took this picture that I turned around to make sure Britt was where I had left him. (Rod was with Maddox a few rows over with the video camera) Well Britt was where I left him. BUt with his pants & pull up at his ankles! I dont think I ever felt so conflicted in my life. I was laughing but horrified. Thats my Britt. taking the attention from T. haha.

We took the boys for ice cream cones after the program.

They do love a good ice cream cone!

The babies fell asleep on the way home, so we changed them & tucked them in.

Tre stayed up with Rod & I. we all snuggled on the couch & watched the Lakers Vs Suns game.

Tre ate it up with a spoon!

onto summer vacation...

I dropped the ball BIG time this year.
Last year I got all kinds of cute picturess of T

running out of class on his last day of school.
This year...
Nothin'!

He had a picnic outside (no pictures.)
played with bubbles & beach balls (again no pictures.)
Ate a chili dog for the 1st time (& again no pictures.)
& said goodbye to frineds & fantastic teachers. (not a single shot.)
Im a slacker.

I did however get a few of this years thank you presents.

(way cooler then last years aprons!)

(we sure miss you Kalen!)



I had no clue how to wrap these pretties
so I made little felt envelopes
with the neclaces & a love note from T saftely tucked inside.

In a few hours Rod will head home for a special evening...

Tre has a great group of friends at school.
Bryce & his dad took T & all his buddies out for Dairy Queen...
his treat.
And, the best part...

they traveled in style while the moms & dads followed behind in SUVs & Minivans.
Who knew riding in a mid 70s yellow limo could be so fun?!
that pretty lady on the end is Ms. Shana. T & I have known her for 3 years.

she is the best teacher arround & we couldnt love her more if we tried! really!
sweet plate!

that cutie pie at T's side is Miss. Chloe.

Tre just loves her to pieces.

Id say the best part was watching heads turn as we drove down the street.
