{Felinda}

When we moved to Texas Maddox could not speak. He hummed. We were referred to a speech therapy clinic. By some stroke of luck Maddox was assigned to Felinda. Our sweet Ms. Felinda. She gave Maddox a voice. I feared the worst with Maddox. He had always been a sad baby, but as he grew I kept waiting & waiting for his happy self to emerge. After a few weeks with Ms. Felinda I met my happy Maddox. She gave me my son. & Then Presley had a hard time too. So we waited & waited to get Presley into any openings Felinda had. & again Presley hit a stride with Felinda & her speech took off. When Maddox was a toddler he would wake at night crying for his beloved Ms. Felinda. She has been a friend & a confidant. I have cried in her office & she has shared good news about her own sons as they left the nest. She is simply amazing. When we figured out we would be moving, she was the first thing to pop into my head. It is safe to say that we will all be leaving a bit of our hearts in Texas with Ms. Felinda. She has blessed us!

Presley's fake smile is a winner.
The sweet Ms. Christine at the front desk gives the kids something now & again. This time it was T-shirts. & Maddox was so excited to get a "free shirt." We had to model them.

A good speech therapist can make a world of difference in the lives of these kiddos. So glad you found yours and that she helped the kids find their voice.
