Today flowed a whole lot better.
Yesterday I had a mental breakdown. It was ugly.
But today I put on my big girl pants & chilled the heck out!
My Mom ordered me to lock me & the babe in my room until 11am.
I obeyed after dropping the big boys off at school (in the momma wagon. --yup. we converted. the escalade is gone & the more functional sienna is parked in the drive. she's not too bad actually.)
My mom took Presley & Maddox out on a breakfast date.
Cooper & I spent some time solo & in the quiet.
Cooper likes calm.
He may have joined the wrong family for that.

I have intentions of typing up details on Coopers arrival, my freak out on an OB resident, How I kicked everyone & their cousin out of my delivery room,  Coopers scare & return to the hospital & how the family is handling the cute new addition.   But...Being at a computer is tricky business these days...& so Ill post pictures. T's 2nd grade teacher requested pictures to show the class the new baby, & that lit a fire under me to add some here.

T asked why I blog yesterday.
I told him I do it for him.
Because someday I want him to look back & see & feel things from his mom's perspective.
I want him to see that his mom loved her family so so much.

He is adorable!! I love all the kids holding him, especially Presley's reached out arms. So precious! Congratulations on your growing family. So wonderful that your mom is there to help out. And wonderful that she knows just what to do, put you in time out! haha! What mom of a newborn doesn't need that quiet time? I know I needed it and had more than one meltdown. And that was only with 2 kiddos! Can't wait to see and read more.
Ps. We have a Sienna for our fam. Love ours! Actually just replaced it with a new one after we put 220,000 miles on the last one! We drive a lot and it treated us well. Enjoy yours. And we always called ours the "Swagga' Wagon" from the Sienna commercials. Always cracks me up. :)

I love the shot of you!! you're so beautiful--you should get in front of the camera more often. who looks that cute in the hospital anyway?! So CONGRATS on the beautiful baby boy!! I'm so happy for you. He's such a cutie. so sweet and perfect.

Hope adjusting continues to get easier. You can do it!! I have meltdowns too and I only have 2 kids! You have many more so meltdowns are totally legit. Don't be too hard on yourself. I for one think you're one amazing mom!!! Feel better and congrats again!

I just want to echo the other comments. First, he is absolutely adorable! And totally fits in with the family. :) Meltdowns are 100% acceptable, and timeout is a beautiful thing! I wish I could get myself one of them! :) And you are simply gorgeous!

I'm so happy for your family. And will include you in my prayers. Love and miss y'all!

Congrats to you all on such a beautiful boy and new addition to the family! I think I forgot you were pregnant, but I have been a little insanely distracted of late :-) Can't wait to see your parents in a few weeks. We are sending you lots of love and prayers. xo

I was just showing these pictures of the kiddos to Norah again (we're dying for new pictures) and when we got to the picture of cooper (the one under the picture of rod with Maddox and britton) and she grabbed my iPad and gave cooper a big kiss! We can't wait to meet him!
