Last year Rod & I hit up the river sans kiddos & stayed in the city overnight. ooh la la! It was romantic. This time we brought along the kids, my fabulous parents & our dear friend Jeremy from med school who happened to be in town. Wish with all my guts that Tamsyn & their 3 could have come along too! But plans to see them are in the works. Spring break '13! We ate & did the river boat tour while gazing at christmas twinkle lights.

I remember thinking last year when you posted the pictures of the riverwalk area, how fun it looked! Looks like such a great vacation spot. Probably even better as a live near spot!
