best part?
Rod called mid-brunch...
saying he was coming home for the night.
& he did.
He is out for a moment, but will be back soon.
Life feels normal again...
for tonight at least!

In honor of his spontaneity
I spontaneously threw together a peach & blueberry pie.
It is in the oven & smells oh so good!

Yay! I'm so glad that life is feeling a little more normal for you. It has to be tough being apart so much. I'm not looking forward to late later this year when Ryan will be away for months at a time. Lean on me...I'm here for you friend.
