Yesterday Rod had his final final!
Now we are moving forward into the rotations portion of med school.
& boards are in a few weeks.
My clever friends & I decided it would be a lot of fun to celebrate a big day by doing something fun for the husbands.
We must have done a good job at keeping a secret, because they were surprised & excited.
We started the day off by making sure the guys only had 1 car for the 3 of them, to ensure they would be in the same place all day.
We snuck into the parking lot & wrote all over Rod's car.
"Our Wives Rock!"
"D.O.s do it better!"
"How good? Sooo Good!"
"Hoff"
a few inside jokes from the past 2 years.
we put Oreos all over & streamers draped in & out.
Inside the car we put a series of clues to lead them to their surprise.
The boys had to complete the tasks in order & take photos as evidence.
Rod got the guys together & the fun began.
so they completed task #1, but decided they would "do you one better"
& take ridiculous pictures of their adventure. They made sure to involve some people they passed in the process. Looks like they had some fun!
This is what they pulled up to at Wal-Mart...

Finally the guys arrived at the Whiting's home!
they were greeted with a cook out, happy kids & eager wives,
prizes & a banner!
We are so proud of them!
"Hoffed" V. to change the wallpaper of another's computer
in attempt to provoke laughter or anger.
(example: someone might put a picture of david haselhoff shirtless on austin's computer.
or a picture of barrack obama & hillary clinton on Rods.)
( Jeremy is known as the Hoff King...he started it, & even hoffed a hotel computer last year.)

we finished the night off with watching a slide show of the pictures they took for us.
It was a great way to celebrate what the guys have accomplished so far...
not to mention the great friendships we have all made
with each other!

Congrats! That's awesome! I am jealous you have finished. I am just finishing up my last semester. We have exams next week. I'm exhausted! Congrats again! Glad to see you guys are having so much fun.
