It was under 100 degrees this past monday. & T & Britt happened to have off from school! So we ventured out to the Zoo. After living an hour from the Zoo for 4 years I packed for a long day out. It is such a nice thing to live near to a Zoo, sea world, museums, parks, beaches. Best of everything. Plus I love that we are still rocking shorts & Ts everyday. We were lucky to have friends go to the Zoo with us. Our FRiend Aimee & her husband, Thad are good friends with our dear friends the Sowby fam...so that connection brought us together & we just so happen to have ended up in the same ward. Pretty neat! Aimee is such a giver! She is forever offering to watch my kidd-os & help with my responsibilities. I feel very lucky to have her here with me. (too bad our husbands were not game on letting us scurry up to NYC to see Taralyn. something about husbands having to work gets in the way of spontanious ideas!) Aimee's children are adorable too! Maddox asks to go to Ashley's house anytime we get in the car!
(ps:I think its funny that I put sweatshirts on my darlings because it was 85 in the AM. since when is 85 chili? Im a Texan for real now I am told!)

The Zoo sounds like lots of fun :-) The picture of Maddox is cute and the boys on the lions look fun. I almost thought it was a picture from the lions in DC Ranch. Hope it was a fun day.
