Rod's schedule here is super family friendly. He has worked so hard to get to this point. Residency hours were intense when he was in town, but he was out of town a whole lot too. We are able to do things as a family, I am able to sneak away to run errands. We really like having him around more. For the better part of 8 years most of the discipline has fallen under my responsibility. Rod now gets to be the dad he has wanted to be. He hold family meeting with notepad in hand, he is strict where I often cannot be because I am juggling needs of 5. I love watching him in action. Such an amazing father. On Monday Rod arrived home at 1 o'clock. He suggested we go into the city for FHE. We road a Ferris wheel that Presley has been asking to ride for weeks now. We had one of the rooms all to ourselves. The children danced to the music & tried to spy our neighborhood while watching people swim & cars pass by. I can feel our family growing closer with each new adventure.
Before we left for our afternoon in the city, Maddox was adamant that there would be legos at the farris wheel. Tre assured him there would be no legos. well wouldn't you know...a mini lego farris wheel. We had Tre hold his head down in shame infant of it. We all had a good laugh.
