I can't even put the thoughts together to write this all. Just around the corner from us & in our ward was the sweet Riddle family. The husband was actually our Bishop. He somehow made it all work even with a beautiful wife & 2 cute busy boys. Maddox became best friends with Eli, the oldest son. Eli was the example and friend I needed Maddox to have in his life. He was a huge blessing from the start. On the last day of school the Riddles had a little pool party...although that cold front I mentioned in the last entry stuck around and we ended up with blanking wrapped around us. The kids had a great time. Coop fell in shoes and clothes and all, but Maddox pulled him out (again) We made sure to grab pictures of the 4 best buds and some other little school friends. The day before we left The Riddles took us to lunch and gave us a huge card with lovely notes from the whole ward. They also gave us a picture book with all the fun memories we had in the St. Rose ward. We really love them & miss them! Madds & Eli still talk every day...hours a day! its a special friendship I hope Madds always cherishes.
