BEACH DAY! The whole time we were at the Zoo the kids were so excited to be there, but also anxious to get sandy and wet. We were up & out on the beach nice and early. Sand castles were built with help from the bigger kids.  Lots of jumping over waves. Travis was working on documenting our trip and I'll tell ya, the end result was so fantastic. The kids watch it non stop. The day was relaxing and still. Everyone became a collector at some point in the day. Shells, seaweed, drift wood, rocks, crabs & sand dollars all were put in buckets to be toted back to the house. Cooper started to run a fever so he sat on my lap for much of our time by the water. I didn't mind one bit. He seems too busy these days to sit with me. There is always a picture of a fox to be drawn, Lego castle to be built. We left a bit after lunch time with pink shoulders and chocolate ice cream drips on swim suits.
