Yesterday I walked into the fabric store
& started laughing/giggiling/chuckeling outloud.
{Yes, I am the crazy lady!}
Its safe to say Im just a little excited about
the gal in my tummy!
Last night my needle & I went to work
girl-ifying
some simple onesies.
(some of which actually were a gift when we were told a baby boy was enroute.)
(ps: these rosettes are uber easy.
just get strips of fabric or ribbon twist & spiral! embelish! & Voila!)

So cute Jen.. you are so talented.

Here's a tip... on the ribbon, if you burn the edges of it where you cut it with a lighter, the edges won't fray. So exciting you are having a girl. Congrats!

Absolutely stunning! I love them all! I love the pattern and color combinations of the flowers on the white onesies the most! You're so crafty! :)

They look fabulous! My poor girl got a mom that is truly meant to be a boy mom, in every way... good things she's cute enough to make up for my lack of accessorizing. :)

duh, i'm such a space cadet! i posted my previous comment on the wrong post, duh. pregnancy brain! anyway, glad you got the comment anyway..:)

the flowers turned out sooo cute!! they look fabulous, great job mommy!! keep up the good work!

oh and yeah, use canvas for the shoes! it will make them thicker... also i used 2 layers of interfacing, that might help as well.

the netting is kind of hard to find. i found it in a bridal section of the fancier part of the fabric store. it's called "russian netting" or "bird cage veiling" . that might help. if you can't find it in stores you might be able to find it online?! hope that helps.

I haven't stopped thinking about your rosettes all day! I'm thinking, I'm a girl, why can't I wear these?! (Not the onesies, the flowers! Lol) I'm thinking pins to dress up tshirts, coats, blazers, and if I'm feeling really brave, glued on a headband! I'm excited just thinking about it! So, now, I beg of you to give me some pointers please. How long and wide do u make the strips of fabric? And what kinds of fabric do you think work best? Thank you for the inspiration! :)
