Its incredibly hard to believe that this skinny little guy is 9. Nine years of this sleepy & tender boy. He is our quietest & our day dreamer. His birthday was very busy this year. His birthday fell on the last day of school making it very special & fun. We started it out right with donuts & then jetted off for a 1/2 day of school. After giving teachers summer treats & hugging friends farewell for the summer we went home & jumped into suits for a culdesac water balloon fight with neighbors. I sure love those new watermelons that come on straws ready to fill. Easy! 600 balloons, popsicles, lollipops & 103 degree temps. The children had a blast.
In the evening we hired a sitter for the babies so that we could go out for Britt's traditional birthday dinner. Burgers. His all time favorite! We took along 4 of his buddies. They are such a sweet bunch! I can see why Britt gets along with them so well. They were all so well behaved & polite. After dinner we went bowling. The kids had a great time. It was a late night but so wonderful. This boy is a real gem! He is so very loved!
