School & Friends

Thursday, March 26, 2020

I am always so surprised how resilient children are. Our 5 have moved so many times and each with new faces, new friends and often new challenges. This move was voluntary. The military was not sending us on assignment. We were out of the military and had to make this descion on our own. We felt that heavy burden of this. If we messed this move up, it would be our fault. We were leaving our best friends, the keys family, changing their schools and friends again. We had told them this would be our last move...but what if it went badly, would we move them again? try again? I am so grateful to say that we hit the jack pot. The kids love all 3 schools, the town is as darling as could be, we have a great ward family and we are happy. We sure miss our friends, but feel happy here. we feel settled.
The schools are small and so music & class performances and activities are class by class rather than grade by grade. The kids have sweet little friends too! Britt is in robotics and chess. Tre is doing Lacrosse and cross country. Coop & Madds are doing youth lacrosse too. Madds is signed up to start guitar, Presley-Violin, and Coop-piano. It is fun to watch them grow & learn in their forever home.

They have had ward parties, trick or treating playdates, halloween church parties, friends over too play, field trips, & lots more. Presley has found a best friend that her heart has been longing for! It is the cutest thing to see them together! Shannon is a gem. Cooper loves his buddies Elliott and Lincoln. Britt is having a blast with. his little group, Dax, Colvin & Quincy. Tre is pretty fun & floats around amongst groups. He is having fun. I need to do a big phone dump. I am so sad that I fell behind, but with the quarantine due to Cover 19, I am trying to get all these sweet pictures documented. I don't want. to forget a single thing about the 5 as they grow up!
