Pictures from our wild tree hunt. It was surprisingly difficult to find that perfect tree in the dessert! haha. But We did & Omah & Opah were such good sports in the whole escapade! I had envisioned a 9/10 foot tree, but as we started talking about it I realized how hard it would be for me to take the tree out after Christmas. alone. No thank you! The tree we did get is plump & round, just the way I like them. Our tree is standing & dropping its branches awaiting all the gold & silver.

Thanksgiving
was hard this year. Good but hard.
the short version:
Mom & Dad were here
Cooler temperatures meant fires in fireplace & playing outside
Homemade food along side kneaders & Rudy's foods too. Texas style!
Parade & seeing Santa Clause
Cranberry ginger ale
Tre took a bad spill on his bike & was limping for days
Cooper's 3rd birthday
was simple & sweet.
He is such a gem. his favorites today are:
Chocolate milk
match box cars
little Einsteins
Chocolate kisses
Play doh
playing outside
riding his bike
stories
target or cvs. daily.
holding hands
sleepy blankets
nursery friends
My parents bought him the cutest ride on that speeds through our house. HIs face cracks me up! I can't stop laughing when I see him on it! Rod called him bright & early & he was all smiles. the best part is that Coop yelled "Happy Birthday!" to Rod before Rod even got a word in. such a funny buddy! The kids made forts & stayed in pajamas. Presley & Maddox made ornaments too. Our scout elf, Bradley returned. Cooper said he was so happy! He is a happy baby! So glad he is ours!
