The weekend before school started we decided to say farewell to summer at a resort at Lake Las Vegas. It was such a fun get away. We headed straight out to the pool when we arrived. Thew resort had a water slide, big yard games, a beach, rental boats, a play ground, fire pits of scores, cafes for pool side treats, and a movie at night. We had so much fun just floating around and playing. We had icy drinks and French fries. Britt was so brave. He is not usually an adventurer, but he loved the slides. We even ran into some friends from lacrosse so the kids were off playing most of the time, leaving Rod & I to just float and chat. it was nice. I think this is one of our most favorite family trips. It was the perfect way to send off the summer.
