{Keys Visit Oregon Day 3/Part 1}

It was Anella's 8th birthday! We had decorated a bot and blown up balloons the night before! The day kicked off with donuts and presents. We had our family come follow me lesson with the Keys which was super fun and very special. We then headed to church. Britt & Johnny passed the sacrament together. After church we made the kids get a group picture in their patriotic church clothes before changing and going to the Portland Temple. We are so lucky to live so near to the temple. some of the houses we looked at had views of the temple...which is tricky here because the trees are so incredibly tall. We walked around the temple grounds and did a scavenger hunt in the visitor's center. The afternoon was pretty so we then headed over to one of my favorite places here. it his a farm with walking paths everywhere. They have wild berries and crab apples and cherries too. We explored and walked before heading back to the house tp start up dinner. Anella wanted to cook her own dinner with Mom so the key's girls cooked while the boys played. After a delicious dinner we had cake & cupcakes for the birthday girl! We sure hope she felt loved. We treasure her! It was a really wonderful  sabbath day!
